BARCLAY'S PREMIER LEAGUE TRANSFER RUMORS + LA LIGA AND OPINION
Hello guys today's blog is going to be focused on the latest Barclay's Premier League transfer rumors and some Spanish transfer rumors along with my personal opinions on the transfers. The transfer window for January will soon be opened and Premier League giants like Manchester United and Manchester City are planning on some major transfers. Please keep in mind that the transfer rumors I am going to address are only rumors not legit future transfers.
Let's start off with one of Premier League's best all time team, Manchester United. Manchester United want to bring in a player who will be 'in the top 10 on the list to win the Ballon d'Or,' according to the Sunday Mirror. With Louis van Gaal's (the current Manchester United Manager)side struggling for goals so far this season, a big name player is being targeted with a high-level source at the club quoted as saying: “A club like Manchester United must have a player who will be in the top 10 on the list to win the Ballon d’Or.” Among those mentioned are Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar. Cristiano Ronaldo had played for Manchester before and had tremendous success in the club. As far as Neymar and Gareth Bale go, Manchester have a chance to sign these players but it will be very difficult due to the fact that other big teams like Paris Saint Germain, Chelsea, Bayern Munich etc. want to sign these players. United have had tremendous success in signing top class players in the likes of Angel Di Maria, Bastian Schwienstiger, and Fellani, so I believe that they have a big chance. Brilliantly for the English giants they are not only focused on transferring Bale, Ronaldo, or Neymar. Manchester United are ready to make a £50m bid for Tottenham striker Harry Kane, according to the Daily Star. It's been a lack of goals that has cost United on a number of occasions this season and yesterday was no different with West Ham holding Louis van Gaal's side at Old Trafford. However, reports suggest United ant to address the lack of goals with a big-money move for England forward Kane.I think that signing harry Kane is a brilliant move because he is one of the leading goal scorers in the league and Manchester United definitely need a top class goal scoring machine like Harry Kane of Tottenham.
Lets move on to one of Spanish giants, FC Barcelona. Italy forward Sebastian Giovinco has played down the prospect of a January move to Barcelona. The Spanish and European champions are reportedly on the hunt for a new forward to provide back-up for the likes of Neymar, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, and Giovinco has been touted as a potential option. However the 28-year-old, who has shone since trading Juventus for MLS outfit Toronto FC in January, has poured cold water over such conjecture by admitting that he would barely feature if he moved to the Camp Nou. He told TodoMercadoWeb.es: “Me to Barca? With the three greatest forwards in history [there], it would be impossible to play.” I believe that Giovinco has a big point because playing alongside Neymar, Suarez, and Messi will be impossible because they are the best trio in the world. He is 28 years old and definitely needs a lot of playing in order to end his carrier at a high note. Barcelona on the hand could look on to other players Diabala of Juventus, Lewandoski of Bayern, Diafra Sakho of West Ham United, and great strikers throughout the world of football/soccer.
The Manchester United rival team Manchester City, is taking big precautions in signing new players during the January transfer window. Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini will not be rushed into signing another striker in January despite an ongoing injury crisis which threatens his side's increasingly hectic campaign. Pellegrini plugged a gap last year by landing Wilfried Bony from Swansea but believes a stronger squad this time around makes it less imperative for him to hunt for new recruits in the New Year. Pellegrini said: "We made the decision last year because we had three players injured and Kelechi (Iheanacho) was one year younger and he was not the player he is today. "(Stevan) Jovetic and Aguero had a lot of injuries in the first half of the season and that was why we decided to bring in Bony. But we are okay with this - we have Kelechi and we have got to give time to the young players. They are not 100 per cent ready to play every game but he is doing very well. "So I am not concerned that we didn't bring in another player because we have Kelechi and we also have Sterling who can play as a central striker." I personally believe that Pellegrini is making a very smart move because giving young players a chance to show their talent on the pitch and put them under the spotlight is very fantastic. Teams like Arsenal also play young talents straight out of the Academy who turn out to be valuable players and then sold to other teams for millions of pounds. Despite city not signing major players, they are still interested in signing good players as a backup for the starters. Juventus full-back Alex Sandro is a reported target for Manchester City, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. The 24-year-old only joined the Serie A club in the summer but is thought to be attracting admiring glances from City, who are ready to offer €40m to secure his services. I think that city has good full backs in the likes of Zabaletta, but I believe that it is smart to start recruiting new fresh legs due to the fact that their defenders are getting older.
I hope that these transfer rumors have cleared some uncertainty in your thoughts and I hope your favorite team gets the most valuable players in the world of soccer/football.
